The subsea integrity anomalies tool is a crucial part of our software solution for identifying and addressing potential issues during subsea asset integrity inspections. Our best in class subsea integrity and inspection software is enabling operational efficiencies through data driven decision making.
Watch the video below or follow this step-by-step guide for a walkthrough of the process of using this feature, from data entry to reviewing flagged anomalies.
How do you use the anomalies feature in Integrity Elementz subsea asset integrity management software?
Step 1: Data Entry
- Select Your Installation:
- Begin on the main application screen, where you can select your chosen installation. In this example, we’ll be using an ROV as our resource spread.
- Test the Connection to the DVR:
- After selecting the resource spread, test the connection to the digital video recorder (DVR). Verify that the overlay text appears correctly on the DVR video feed, showing the relevant component and workpack from Integrity Elements.
- Initiate a Dive:
- Start the dive by entering key information, including the start time, the resource spread in use, and a brief description of the dive.
- Select a Workpack and Substructure:
- Choose the appropriate workpack and select a substructure to group related test points or components. You can use the search feature to quickly find the component you need and review its tasks, elevation, and diagrams.
- Start Recording:
- Once the component is selected, click on “Start Recording” to begin capturing routine video. As you perform each task, open the task within the software, enter the required data, and mark the task as complete once finished.
Step 2: Anomaly Detection and Reporting
- Triggering an Anomaly:
- If the result of a task falls outside the allowable limits, the software will automatically trigger an anomaly warning. This generates an anomaly report with an auto-assigned anomaly code, which you can adjust if needed.
- Documenting the Anomaly:
- Complete the anomaly report by first recording additional videos or photos to capture the anomaly in detail, then reviewing the captured media to ensure accuracy before finalising the report.
- Stop Recording and Verify Video Playback:
- Once the routine video recording is complete, stop the recording and verify the playback quality to confirm that all data has been captured correctly.
Step 3: Data Review
- Reviewing Anomalies:
After completing the data entry, go to the Site Anomalies section on the main page to review any anomalies that were raised during the inspection. - Opening and Reviewing Data:
- Open the anomaly report to review both the data entered and the media captured (photos and videos). This review helps verify that everything has been recorded accurately before moving forward.
By following these steps, you can effectively use the anomalies feature in Integrity Elementz to monitor and manage inspection data, ensuring any potential issues are flagged and addressed with thorough documentation. This process helps maintain the integrity of your data and allows for a smooth workflow for all your projects.
